Tax Orator is an AI-powered tax research tool that provides citation-backed answers sourced from IRS publications, Treasury Regulations, Internal Revenue Bulletins, and state tax documents. The Service is designed for licensed tax professionals including CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and tax attorneys.

All citations reference publicly available source documents, but accuracy is not guaranteed. You are solely responsible for verifying all information and exercising independent professional judgment. Tax Orator is not a substitute for qualified professional advice.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Each account is for a single individual user
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Subscription & Billing

  • Free tier (Discovery): 10 queries per month at no cost
  • Paid tiers: Subscription plans with increased query limits and features, billed monthly via Stripe
  • Paid subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You retain access to paid features until the end of your current period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tax Orator only for professional tax research purposes. You may not:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying algorithms or data
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users' access

6. Intellectual Property

  • The Tax Orator platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Tax Orator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws
  • Source documents referenced in responses (Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, IRS publications) are works of the United States Government and are in the public domain
  • Your tax research queries and any data you submit remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your content

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tax Orator's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In no event shall Tax Orator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the theory of liability.

8. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, with notice when practicable
  • Upon termination, your data will be available for export for 30 days. After that period, it will be permanently deleted
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, and Governing Law) will remain in effect

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of Tax Orator after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Idaho.
